THE WORLDS MOST EXPENSIVE COFFEE
Kopi Luwak is a luxury product sold in Hong Kong with a hefty price tag. The coffee has a bad reputation because some producers cage the civet cat, who ferments the coffee and feed it on unripe coffee cherries. Lidya May is humanely harvested from civet cats in the wild who only feast on the ripest coffee cherries.

Lidya May can provide up to fifty kilos a week for wholesale and retail customers. We keep the price down and do a profit share with the family farm in Bali, to ensure everybody gets a fair deal. The Lidya May Coffee estate transports ripe cherries quickly to their mills after harvest. The pulp is then fermented and washed off, using the wet process, with rigorous quality control. This results in coffee with good, heavy body and a sweet overall impression. They are sometimes rustic in their flavour profiles, but display a lasting finish. At their best, they are smooth and supple and sometimes have a subtle herbaceous note in the after-taste. At Lidya May Coffee, we only use the finest, organic Arabica beans harvested from our family plantation. Our coffee is harvested with the help of locals and always ecologically responsible. JAVA DREAM
A fine Java coffee has a low-toned richness that is typical of Indonesian coffees, but with a full body that is clean and thick, with a medium acidity. While the finish of Java may be a bit quicker than some other Indonesian coffees, it often contains a slightly spicy or smoky twist. Java coffee leaves a sweet impression overall, very smooth, earthy and a supple texture. At Lidya May Coffee, we only use the finest, organic Arabica beans harvested from our family plantation.
